Point of contact for all topics related to Aeronautical voice and data Communications (ground-ground and air-ground):
  • Daily business assistance to Air Traffic Controllers and Technical teams
  • Management of changes on safety-critical services, from need analysis to transition into Operation (covering equipment, procedures and human aspects)
  • Operational stream lead for large-scale projects (e.g. creation of a Swiss-wide centralized ATIS)
  • Operational expertise for strategic initiatives and concepts
  • Skyguide point of contact and representative for frequency management at the national and European level.
Also deputy to the Head of Operational Change and Support in Geneva.

Turn-key provision and installation of a Thales-ATM Mode-S RADAR and a Télérad VHF extended range antenna station.
  • Survey, specification, design, scheduling, on-site management, tests and validation of all technical and logistics aspects (buildings, power supply, facilities, access road, telecom links, equipment transportation...)
  • Resulted into major improvement of the Lao En-Route controllers working conditions: full En-Route RADAR coverage and Ground-Air Voice contact over the entire FIR.

In direct and daily relation with Lao Airports Authority, the operator of the CNS/ATM systems in Laos.

  • Advise to the controllers for optimized use of their newly installed Surveillance and Communication facilities (RADAR heads, ATC centers, VCS)

French: mother tongue

English: daily working use since 2000 (TOEFL 597 in 1999)

German: elementary level (A2), mainly used during missions in Eastern Switzerland

Lao & Thai: learnt on the job, daily used including as a working language (with local contractors for instance) during 7 years.

Spanish: fair academic level, lacking of recent practice

 

Mastering Microsoft Office suite (including VB Macros) and Windows environment

Familiar with Unix / Linux operating systems (applications, configuration & scripting)
